brave the cold There's one thing they neglect to mention in the Oregon Visitors Guide: the water is frickin' freezin' here. Lauren and I went to beach right after we moved here. It was the middle of July on probably the hottest day of the year. We were all set to dive in when we noticed all the surfers were wearing full body wetsuits. Huh, that's weird. One toe in the water later and I had a brain-freeze headache like I just pounded a 32oz Slurpee. Brrr... 26-04-2007 - 3 comments.
